What Does The Qualification Cover? Our business administration qualifications provide individuals with the skills required for an administrative or clerical role, and instil an understanding of the key responsibilities required in the role. They attract some of the highest numbers of learners in the country. Qualification Gained: The Level 3 Business & Administration Apprenticeship comprises of the following components:
Who Is This Qualification Suited For? The Level 3 is ideal if you have some knowledge and experience of administration systems. You will want to develop your skills to implement and monitor administrative procedures and systems, perhaps to move into a management role by learning how to effectively supervise others and contribute to wider departmental or organisational change. What Are The Entry Requirements? There are no formal entry requirements although candidates should have the ability to manage the requirements of the level of the qualification; candidates will be required to undertake the Initial Assessments before confirmation of place on course. How Many Credits Are Required To Complete Them? The course is made up of a number of Mandatory units supplemented by Optional Units. Learners earn credits for each Unit enabling them to meet the required number of credits to complete the course. To achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration the learner must achieve a minimum of 58 QCF credits overall: • 27 credits from five mandatory units. • A minimum of 31 credits from optional units.
How Is The Qualification Assessed? The assessor will come to the workplace and assist the candidate in portfolio building, planning and observations. All Learners will attend a day release class twice a month.
Do You Need To Be Working To Take The Qualifications? Yes Candidates must be employed in a setting for at least 30 hours per week andshould earn at least the minimum Apprenticeship salary of £4.30 p/hr and for those aged 19 or over in the first year of their Apprenticeship and applies to time working, plus time spent training that is part of the Apprenticeship.
How Long Will It Take To Complete? The course will take approximately 12-15 months to complete.
What Qualifications Can You Progress To? Candidates can progress on to the Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Business & Professional Administration and on to further Leadership & Management training.
What Type Of Job Roles Can You Apply For On Completion? Candidates can progress to supervisory roles and management positions, candidates can also specialise in areas such as Human Resources, Finance and Marketing.
What Is The Course Cost? Candidates aged 16-18 will be eligible for full Funding for the cost of the course. Funding is available for those aged 19 and over please contact us for more information.
