What Does The Qualification Cover?This qualification is an introduction to the information and knowledge needed to work in primary, secondary or special schools. It covers the many varied roles that full and part time support staff may fulfil which can include: administrative roles, site support roles, technical roles and volunteers, as well as those roles that work directly with children and young people in the school environment. What Are The Entry Requirements?There are no formal entry requirements although candidates should have the ability to manage the requirements of the level of the qualification. How Many Credits Are Required To Complete Them?The Award requires 12 credits with 80 guided learning hours. How Is The Qualification Assessed?The course will be assessed by your tutor using a range of methods. This can include written assignments, case studies and tasks set. Do You Need To Be Working To Take The Qualifications?No you do not need to be working or volunteering in a practical placement to undertake the course.
